Even the guy who brought revolution to the New World needed a place to unwind, and apparently George Washington’s favorite watering hole was once located at the site of this Colonial home in Alexandria, VA. As the legend goes, the $4.2 million property resides on the site of the Springs Gardens Tavern, the after-hours destination of choice of Mr. One Dollar Bill himself.
