Congratulations to Howie Mandel for selling his Malibu estate!
After fifteen months of “no deal,” Howie Mandel has parted ways with his ocean-view home in Malibu, Calif.
Mandel hoped for $7.25 million for the nearly 5,900-square-foot spread in the Point Dume area when he first listed it in late 2011. After failing to find an acceptable offer, the former “Deal or No Deal” television host, comic and actor raised the price on the Cape Cod-style home to $7.75 million in January 2013.
Fast forward to today and Mandel finally found an offer worthy of saying “Deal.” The Los Angeles Times reports that he has parted ways for the property for a cool $7 million.
Designed by noted architect Douglas Burdge, the 2008 Nantucket-style build sits on more than an acre of land overlooking Santa Monica Bay. Besides its prime vantage point and ocean views, the property features a five-bedroom, five-and-a-half-bath main home and a detached guest house with an additional bedroom suite.
