Dominic was born in Durban, South Africa and immigrated to the U.S. in 1981. He has been a SoCal resident for the past 28 years.
Dom started his real estate career working with a Top Producer in Pacific Palisades. He went on to Coldwell Banker in Malibu. Working with top producers and high-end properties helped him gain exceptional experience and priceless knowledge of the industry. Dom has assisted in successfully closing over 1500 transactions amounting to more than 5 billion dollars in sales.
In 2006 Dominic decided to leave "Corporate America" work for a smaller brokerage called Windermere Real Estate/Bill Toth & Associates. He helped manage the office of over 40 successful Realtors.
In September of 2008, Josh and Dom launched Westside Properties which is a division of RealPro Financial. With the vision of a boutique, upscale, full-service company in mind they've decided to grow very slowly and carefully select their agents and staff.

As a real estate professional Josh is passionate about helping his clients achieve their real estate goals. And as the Broker of Westside Properties, Josh is dedicated to helping his agents enjoy their career in real estate.
You could say that Joshua Barré was born into the Westside real estate business. Before he could walk, he was “sitting” on open houses with his grandmother, Betty Lessing, who beloved by her clients, continued to work until she passed away in 2005. Her reputation for integrity and professionalism, enhanced by her warmth and caring, lives on in her grandson.
In the early 80’s, Josh’s mother, Laurie, entered the business, and worked with her mother helping buyers and sellers on the Westside. At the age of 19, Josh- representing the third generation, obtained his real estate license, and joined his parents in the family business helping buyers and sellers achieve their dreams and goals.
Josh and Dom represent a new generation of real estate professionals that understand how to leverage internet-based information technology to better serve their clients.
